Home video is great. But nothing compares to a theater or drive-in. Except for a home theater. This can be done on a budget. I bet you have most of what you need now.

You have a TV and DVD player. Add surround sound with a $50 speaker set. I started with a $100 home theater in a box. Then upgrade and decorate as your budget allows.

Dedicated home theater are ideal. But I always used my living room. My goal is movies on the lawn. Don't forget about your pool, deck or even your drive-way.
